Summer Fun 2013

Last weekend we visited my mom and dad and sister in Nebraska.  We had fun swimming and celebrating my nephews 5th birthday.  My how the time goes so quickly!  Hard to believe he's already 5.

Finally, our summer has arrived!  We moved over Memorial Day Weekend, so we've been busy unpacking and settling into our new place.  We all are so happy to be living in the country.  There's been lots of 4-wheeler riding, bike riding, swimming and sitting on the deck and porch. We are so excited that our kids get to grow up here.  There's so much for them to do.  Just yesterday we picked a few mulberries after we got our mail.  The kids enjoyed that.  Here's a little of what we've been up to.

Let's Play Ball!

The kids had their first ever t-ball game yesterday.  It was fun to watch them play.  There are so many things to learn at this age.  Things like...you don't leave in the middle of the game to go to the bathroom.  You have to watch for the ball, not play in the dirt.  You should run, not walk around the bases.

I'm enjoying watching them grow and learn the sport, and develop just a tad bit of discipline. 

Swoosh would really like to be playing with Red Shoes & Happy Feet.  He's going to LOVE it when it's finally his turn.
